Mark 1:29-39

Because word has spread about him, Jesus’ first days of ministry are very busy. He moves at a nonstop pace doing what needs to be done. He heals the sick, drives out demons, preaches, and teaches all in the name of God. He rests briefly, but before beginning the work again he turns to his Father in prayer.

Lord, even when I rest I am busy. Help me to be still in mind and body and to rest in you.
