Mark 6:1-6

They thought they knew him, Mary’s son, the carpenter. Perhaps their memory of him was in the context of his humble beginnings. That memory is not consistent with their experience of him in the synagogue, and they could not get past that. Though they were astonished by his words and deeds, they lacked faith.

Lord I need to examine the depth and breadth of my faith in you. I pray that I will never reject you but rather be that voice in the crowd praising your work in my life and in those around me.
