World Food Day
Participate by helping to educate, collect, and distribute food among local non-profit organizations and food pantries. World Food Day is observed each October to address the problem of hunger.
Attend an organizational meeting in early October.  Two weekends in October; one weekend to pass out bags at Liturgy and the following weekend to help collect and distribute the food.

Holiday Food Baskets
Participate in organizing the collection and assembly of Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for families in need.  Attend meetings in October-December to plan and implement these ministries.

Giving Tree
Bring joy to families and adults in need of assistance this Christmas season.  Collect names of adults and families needing gifts, make ornaments, put up the giving tree, pass out ornaments, collect and sort the gifts.   Work with this ministry during November-December.

Operation Rice Bowl
Help with this Catholic Relief Services lenten program of prayer, education, fasting, and giving almsgiving to benefit the poor of the world.
